Charlotte Clark

Co-Assistant Director

About

Charlotte Clark plays a central role in the leadership, organisation, and day-to-day operation of Lisa Clark Dance Centre. As Co-Assistant Director, she works closely with both students, teachers and families to ensure the school runs smoothly, professionally, and with clarity across all areas of training and communication.

Charlotte is deeply invested in creating structures that support students’ thriving — balancing high-quality training with realistic workloads, clear expectations, and a strong focus on student wellbeing. She is particularly passionate about supporting young dancers through the demands of training by prioritising organisation, consistency, and transparent communication between staff, students, and families.

With a strong understanding of the school’s training pathways and community needs, Charlotte oversees many of the systems that underpin LCDC’s success, including scheduling, policies, and student support processes. Her approach is thoughtful, practical, and people-focused, ensuring that both students and staff feel supported within a well-managed, welcoming environment.

While not a dance teacher herself, Charlotte brings incredible creativity to LCDC through her skills as a seamstress, designing and sourcing costumes for our performances and making many of our soloist costumes. Charlotte is an integral part of the annual end-of-year performance where she and her husband (Mr Jared – Musical Theatre) really run the show – from the creative ideas, to the logistics, the design and overall spectacle of the show.

As part of the Director Team, Charlotte contributes to the long-term development and direction of LCDC, helping to shape a school culture that values professionalism, care, accountability, and a genuine love of dance and community.

Fun Fact: Charlotte is a trained Makeup Artist and Stunt Woman.
